What are the main factors affecting oil yield?

The oil yield rate of different oils is directly related to the production efficiency of the oil factory. The higher the oil yield rate, the higher the output. Therefore, the oil yield has always been one of the key points of the oil factory, so what factors will affect the oil yield during the processing of the edible oil production line?

1. Equipment
The impact of equipment on the oil yield rate is mainly in terms of quality, performance, model configuration, etc. Different types of oil equipment have different oil extraction processes, and the degree of oil extraction is also different. Such as extraction equipment and oil press, the quality of the crude oil extracted by the extraction equipment is not as good as that extracted by the oil press, and the cake residual oil rate of the oil press is much higher than that of the extraction equipment. Therefore, oil factories need to make choices in various aspects such as oil quality and output.

2. Process
Before extracting oil, the oil will go through shelling, crushing, rolling, steaming and frying, etc. These processes are collectively referred to as oil pretreatment.
In the pretreatment process, the shelling rate of the oil, the degree of crushing, the temperature, and moisture during steaming and frying all have a certain impact on the oil yield rate.
We all know that some oil materials such as tea seeds and peanuts need to be shelled first and then processed by crushing, steaming, and frying. The shell of the oil does not contain fat, and it will affect the subsequent crushing, steaming, and frying processes. Therefore, if peanuts and tea seeds are directly pressed, the oil quality will be affected to a certain extent. Therefore, shelling treatment is a necessary process, which can improve the oil yield of seeds and improve the quality of oil products.

The temperature and moisture of the oil can be controlled through the steaming and frying process, the internal cells of the oil are destroyed, the protein is denatured, the oil aggregates, the viscosity and surface tension of the oil are reduced, and the oil is fully produced.

3. Production process
After the equipment is installed, it is necessary to standardize the operation of the equipment according to the technological process. Regular inspection, cleaning, and replacement of worn parts are carried out on the equipment every day. Only in this way can the equipment be kept in a better running state, so that it can maintain a normal working state for a long time and ensure a high oil yield rate.
