The process of extracting groundnuts oil with a screw oil press

Oil presses can be used for the extraction of extracting groundnuts oil.. Pressing is a widely used oil production method for various oil crops, and is a traditional oil processing method in my country’s groundnut production areas. Its principle is to squeeze out the oil by crushing the cell wall of the oil with pressure.

According to different operation methods, extracting groundnuts oil can be divided into cold pressing method and hot pressing method. The former has a low oil yield, and the finished product has a lot of water and protein, which is not easy to preserve, so this method is rarely used. The latter product is prone to peculiar smell and dark oil color, but has a high oil yield, less water and impurities, and is easy to store. Pressed groundnut oil mainly includes cleaning, drying, shelling, pressing and other processes. The purpose of steaming and frying is to facilitate the extraction of oil and improve the yield and quality of oil.

 

The specific extracting groundnuts oil

  1. Cleaning and drying of groundnuts: groundnuts entering the oil factory will inevitably carry some impurities. If the soil, stems and leaves and other debris entrained in groundnuts are not removed, it will not only affect the quality of oil and cake, but also absorb part of the oil and reduce the oil yield. If there are sand, stones, metal, hemp rope and other sundries in the groundnuts, it will cause wear of machine parts, induce production accidents, and affect the process effect. Therefore, in order to ensure the smooth progress of production, it is necessary to remove impurities as much as possible, and it is also necessary to dry individual groundnuts with high water content to facilitate shelling.
  2. There are many cleaning methods, and different methods can be used according to the situation of impurities. If the impurities contained are relatively light, such as grass, stems, leaves, etc. Air separation can be used to blow away impurities with a stream of air. If the impurity particles are small, the impurities can be removed by sorting. For some impurities similar in size and relative density to groundnuts, if they belong to clods, they can be put into a mud machine for friction and crushing, and then removed by screening. If it is iron impurity, it can be separated by electromagnet or permanent magnet. The impurity content after cleaning should be below.
  3. Shelling: The purpose of shelling groundnutkernels before oil extraction is to reduce the adsorption of oil on the shell and increase the oil yield; it can increase the throughput of the oil press and reduce the wear and tear of the oil extraction equipment; it is beneficial to billet rolling and Improve the quality of crude oil; can improve the quality of cakes, which is conducive to comprehensive utilization.
  4. Heat treatment (steaming, frying): heat treatment is one of the most important processes in the oil extraction process. Including the wetting and heating of the heat-treated body, it is called steaming or frying in production, and the steamed and fried body is called cooked body. The pressed green body after heat treatment is called hot pressing, and the unheated green body is called cold pressing. groundnuts are mainly hot pressed. The effect of heat treatment directly affects the smooth progress of the whole oil making process, the oil yield and the quality of oil and cake.
  5. Pressing: Screw oil press is a kind of small oil press, which is widely used in small oil factories in rural areas. It has simple structure, high pressure, continuous processing of materials, low labor intensity, and can squeeze a variety of oils.

 

Because its circular pressing bar is a zigzag curve and a cone, when the material is pressed, it is pushed by the pressing snail, so that the volume of the pressing snail and the inner wall space of the extrusion cage are constantly changing. Because the circular press bar is arranged at the rear of the extrusion cage, the inner wall of the extrusion cage is zigzag, where the billet is alternately squeezed and relaxed, and the structure of the billet remains unchanged. So it squeezes better. At the same time, the oil yield is guaranteed, which brings better benefits.
