Oil yield refers to the ratio of the oil quality of each part to the total amount of pressed oil when the oil press is pressing peanut, rapeseed, sunflower and other vegetable oils, that is, oil yield = oil yield ÷ (total number – removing impurities) × 100% .
What is the oil yield of the automatic oil press machine? It is affected by the oil content of the main oil, the process method, and the operation mode. Fully automatic oil press press oil, mainly to ensure the oil yield and residual oil rate of dry cakes, as well as technical and economic indicators such as oil yield and production capacity, which are the main conditions for users to evaluate products. In the process of pressing oil by automatic oil press, there are seven key factors that affect the oil yield level of oil extraction, listed as follows.
1. Oil quality
The variety, plumpness, dry humidity and other factors of the oil are the key factors of the oil yield of the automatic oil press machine. A series of pretreatments before the oil enters the oil press is a key factor. The quality and dryness of the oil raw material will affect the oil yield. When harvesting oil crops, oil-free impurities such as stems and leaves, shells, soil, sand and gravel should be screened out. Oil with a higher degree of cleanliness will have a higher oil yield.
2. Compression process
Adopting the “cold pressing method” will increase the pressing times of the oil press, greatly reduce the daily processing capacity, increase the residual oil rate of dry cakes, significantly increase power consumption, and reduce economic benefits. It should also be pointed out that when the oil press adopts cold pressing, the first cake squeezed out is not easy to mash due to the high water content of the oil; when the second pressing is carried out, it is easy to be overhead in the hopper, affecting the feeding, requiring constant stirring, and the operation is troublesome , poor efficiency.
Different oil crops should use different pressing techniques, but practice has proved that, generally speaking, “hot pressing” of oil presses is obviously better than cold pressing in terms of oil yield and economic benefits, and “hot pressing” should be used as much as possible. “.
3. Operation mode of automatic oil press
Pressing temperature and moisture. Facts have proved that although the machine performance of the oil press is well controlled, it is difficult to produce normal results due to poor or unstable water and temperature control of the oil press. Squeeze water and temperature directly affect the physical properties and chemical process of the billet.
Theoretical results show that the billet entering the hydraulic press must have suitable moisture and temperature, that is, the fluidity of the billet should be good, and the viscosity and surface tension of the oil should be reduced as much as possible. Only by ensuring that the billet has appropriate plasticity and elasticity can the normal pressing chamber pressure be maintained. Squeezing water and temperature are usually achieved through pretreatment process.
If the water content is too high, the green body will agglomerate and affect the oil yield; on the contrary, when the water content is too low, the green body will be pressed into powder by the hydraulic press, which will easily coke and block the pores. Experiments also show that the water content of the raw material embryos cannot be lower than the cake forming limit.
If the temperature is too high, the sugar in the embryo will coke, the protein and other components will be destroyed, and the color of the oil will darken, which will affect the quality of the oil product. On the contrary, if the temperature is too low, normal physical changes and biochemical conditions cannot be formed. At the same time, the suitable pressing temperature range of the automatic oil press is 110 ~ 130 ℃.
2. Squeeze time
The pressing time of the automatic oil press has a certain relationship with the oil recovery efficiency. Generally speaking, the pressing time is long and the oil output is slow, but the pressing time should not be too long, otherwise there will be more heat loss, which will affect the oil recovery efficiency and production capacity. Therefore, under the premise of achieving oil recovery efficiency, the pressing time of the oil press should be shortened as much as possible. The residence time of the embryo in the press chamber mainly depends on the rotation speed of the screw shaft, followed by the newness and oldness of the press ring of the press screw and the thickness of the cake. For some oils with high oil content, the pressing time can be extended appropriately, and an appropriate rotation speed can be selected.
3. Press chamber pressure
The essence of oil extraction by fully automatic oil press is to apply pressure to the billet to take out the oil. The main factors affecting the press chamber pressure are filter cake thickness, feed amount and pretreatment quality (moisture content and temperature, etc.). The relationship between filter cake thickness and oil transfer efficiency is very important. The thicker the cake, the smaller the pressure in the press chamber, the smaller the load, and the lower the oil recovery efficiency. Conversely, the thinner the cake, the higher the efficiency of oil transfer. But when it is ultra-thin, it will increase the load on the oil press and cause accidents. The feed amount should be controlled at a moderate flow rate to avoid “bridging” and maintain a normal and stable press chamber pressure.
4. Parts wear degree
The screw shaft or the cake outlet of the automatic oil press is not smooth, which affects the feeding and cake output. We can use a grinding wheel to grind, or mix materials with a high friction coefficient into the cake, such as chaff, then add an appropriate amount of water, start the oil press, slowly feed and press, and polish the cake outlet smoothly.
If the screw shaft of the automatic oil press is polished, the parts should be replaced immediately. If the speed of the screw shaft of the hydraulic press is too fast or too slow, the operating speed should be adjusted immediately until the specified requirements are met.
